Well, that's great; our coasts are generally more enjoyable and interesting than the interior of the country. I will point out that visiting, even repeatedly, is not the same as an extended living arrangement.

Now again, check this chart I posted previously which shows obesity rates for various countries:
Note that Australia has a much higher average incidence of obesity than France. By extension, using your above logic this means France is a much more desirable place to live than Australia. Agree or disagree?
